The MEGA/TERA Series is equipped with a high-speed double-arm tool changer with a 40-tool magazine (MEGA 30V standard is 30-tool). The magazine is integrated on the machine with an isolated structure, eliminating vibrations to the column and improving accuracy and finishes.
The multi-speed double arm allows the operator to adjust tool-change speed for oversized tools, heavy tools, and probes - ensuring accuracy and reliability. ATC recovery in the HMI is standard and assists the operator in recovering arm and tool position.

ATC rear operation panel and door allow loading, unloading, and inspection while the machine is in operation. Tools can be called by tool number or pocket number. During manual operation the cycle continues until the door is closed and the key is switched to automatic. (Except 30-tool magazine / MEGA 30V panel note.)
