MEGA 30VT

The MEGA 30VT is Micro Dynamics’s five-axis(*) trunnion table machine equipped with hydraulic brakes. The design allows the user to load three vises or use it as a 500 x 300 mm (19.7” x 11.8”) work table with a 220 mm (8.7”) diameter face plate.

For automation, the through hole of the rotary table allows for the plumbing of hydraulics, pneumatics, or other devices. A true five-axis simultaneous version is available as an option.

(*) 5-Axis simultaneous version is an optional upgrade.

The standard 15,000 rpm spindle (optional 18,000 or 20,000 rpm) offers excellent cutting performance.

– Roller Gear Cam Mechanism
MICRO DYNAMICS trunnion table, utilizing high-quality Japanese-made components. It replaces the traditional worm gear design with a Roller Gear Cam Mechanism, offering enhanced rigidity, repeatability, and zero-backlash performance.

– Rapid Feedrate
Up to 1,889 ipm on X/Y/Z-axis, reducing non-cutting time significantly.

– Ribbed Structure
FC300 Meehanite® casting and optimized rib design using FEA analysis to ensure machining stability.

– High Speed Automatic Tool Changer
Tool to tool change time 1.2 seconds.Standard 40-tool capacity, expandable to 60, 90, 120 tools.

– Thermal Compensation
DYPEC® Dynamic Predictive Error Compensation corrects position error caused by thermal changes.
(Resolution 0.1 μm)

– Advanced CNC Controller
Equipped with a MITSUBISHI M830VW controller and a MICRO DYNAMICS HMI for intuitive operation, with the option to upgrade to the M850VW controller for 5-axis simultaneous machining.

– Minimal Footprint
Footprint size of only 119.8" × 90.3" mm, optimize efficiency, cut costs, and boost flexibility with a reduced footprint compared to other vertical machining centers with the same travel.

All machines undergo laser calibration and double ball bar testing before shipment, with the RENISHAW laser A/C set ensuring precise 4th and 5th axis compensation within an exceptional 10 arcseconds, while the double ball bar test maintains accuracy within an impressive 5 microns.
