The TERA 50VT/50 offers a larger spindle taper and more torque than the TERA 50VT.
The TERA 50VT/50 is Micro Dynamics’s five-axis(*) trunnion table machine equipped with hydraulic brakes. The design allows the user to load three vises or use it as a 720 x 400 mm (28.3” x 15.8”) work table with a 320 mm (12.6”) diameter face plate.
For automation, the through hole of the rotary table allows for the plumbing of hydraulics, pneumatics, or other devices.
(*) 5-Axis simultaneous version is an optional upgrade.

– Supports Larger, Heavier Tooling
Capable of handling larger toolholders and cutters (e.g., face mills Ø160–200+ mm), the 50 taper system increases material removal rates and overall productivity.
– Roller Gear Cam Mechanism
MICRO DYNAMICS trunnion table, utilizing high-quality Japanese-made components. It replaces the traditional worm gear design with a Roller Gear Cam Mechanism, offering enhanced rigidity, repeatability, and zero-backlash performance.
– Rapid Feedrate
Up to 48 m/min on X/Y-axis and 32 m/min on Z-axis, reducing non-cutting time significantly.
– High Speed Automatic Tool Changer
The multi-speed double arm allows the operator to adjust the speed of the tool changes for oversized, heavy tools and probes, to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Equipped with a MITSUBISHI M830VW controller and a MICRO DYNAMICS HMI for intuitive operation, with the option to upgrade to the M850VW controller for 5-axis simultaneous machining.
All machines undergo laser calibration and double ball bar testing before shipment, with the RENISHAW laser A/C set ensuring precise 4th and 5th axis compensation within an exceptional 10 arcseconds, while the double ball bar test maintains accuracy within an impressive 5 microns.
